Helen Dundore

Helen B. Dundore, 90, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2014 in the Brethren Home, New Oxford, PA. She was born December 10,1923 in Carlisle to the late Harry J. and Clara Stover Buttorff and was the widow of Frederick V. Dundore who passed away October 11, 2003.

Helen was a member of the Faith Community of the Brethren Home in New Oxford for 25 years where she volunteered. She was employed as a secretary stenographer for Musselmans and loved to crochet and do needlework.

Helen is survived by a son, Dennis M. (Lynne) Dundore of Hanover, PA; two daughters, Darlene D. (Leverne) Alford of Frederica, DE and Bonnie K. (Paul) May of Dillsburg, PA; a daughter-in-law, Esther L. Dundore of St. Louis, MO; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.  Helen was predeceased by her son, David M. Dundore.

Services will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Nicarry Meeting House at the Brethren Home Community, New Oxford, PA with Rev. Linda S. Titzell officiating. There will be a viewing from 9:30 AM until the time of service.  Interment will be in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Fund at the Brethren Home, 2990 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford, PA 17350. Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N.
