Harold Lewis Lott, 78, of Carlisle passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 9,
2014, in Life Care Hospitals of Mechanicsburg. He was born in Schenectady, NY on
February 13, 1936, to the late Orville and Mildred Van Natten Lott.
Harold is survived by his loving wife, Helen Louise Doyle Lott, daughter, Debra
(Ronald) Reilley of Webster, NY; two step-sons, Gary L. (Marsha L.) Quesenberry
of Gardners and I. William (Winifred) Quesenberry of Lake Placid, FL; and a sister,
Clara (Lloyd) Potter of Preston Hollow, NY. He was predeceased by step-son,
Michael H. Quesenberry, who passed away in 1996. He is also survived by his
best friend, Harold (Skip) Shoffner.
Harold was a strong man who maintained a positive attitude through the health
challenges placed before him. He attended Cobleskill High School in New York, and
was proud to have served his country as a member of the U.S. Army and U.S. Air
Force from 1953 to 1962. A retiree of Dickinson College, he was a Lab Technician
in the Biology Department and later worked in the Facilities Maintenance
Department, where he earned the name "AC Man". Harold was a life member of
the American Legion # 674 in Mt. Holly Springs.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 11:30 AM, in the
Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery on Watts St. with the Rev. Robert McEllroy officiating, Cumberland County Honor Guard will conduct Military Services. Afterwards, a Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Allison Hall,
99 Mooreland Avenue, Carlisle.
Harold’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all his close friends
and family who have offered their support and love throughout his illness.

Hospital and Life Care Hospitals of Mechanicsburg. You made a huge difference in our lives and we truly appreciate you.
