Gloria May

Gloria Jean May, 72, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA,  passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at her residence. Gloria was born October 2, 1945 in Carlisle, PA to the late Keller and Elizabeth (Hershey) Detwiler.

Gloria was a Tester at Reeves Hoffman, serving for 35 years. She also worked for Troy Laundry and Knause Foods. A member of the Barnitz United Methodist Church and enjoyed cross stitching, cooking, canning and baking.

Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Charles C. May Sr.; two children, Penny Lea Nace and husband, Donald and Charles C. May Jr. and wife, Tammy, both of Mt. Holly Springs; five grandchildren, Rodger, Bobbie Jo, Jasmine, Brian and Chelsea; 8 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Charles Hershey, Elwood and Gary Detwiler, Betty Lebo, Nancy Paxton and Shirley Bowers. She is preceded in death by siblings, Richard Hershey and Mary Jo Tuckey.

A viewing will be held Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.
