Gloria Gitt

Gloria Fanus Gitt, 93, and formerly of Boiling Springs passed away Sunday January 27, 2019 at Cumberland Crossings. She was the widow of Landis B. Gitt who passed away January 29, 2008. Gloria was born January 19,1926 in Goodyear to the late Harry P. and Ester Myers Fanus. A graduate of Boiling Springs High School Class of 1945 where she played basketball. She retired from McCoy Electronics and the Naval Supply Depot. Member of the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church. An avid sports fan, and enjoyed watching football and baseball.

Survived by her daughter LuAnn (Ted) Smith of Texas and sons Leonard Gitt of Mechanicsburg and Ted (Tammy) Gitt of Shippensburg and granddaughter Delaney Elizabeth Gitt of Boise, Idaho. She was predeceased by her grandson Samuel Edward Gitt who passed away July 22, 2011 and 13 brothers & sisters.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 1, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home &Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave. Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Pastor Titus Clarke officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery and a viewing will be held at 10:00AM until the service. Memorial contributions may be made to her church at 201 W.
