Glenn G. Kramer, 81, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 in the Reading Hospital. He was born November 21, 1934 in York Springs, PA to the late John and Celeste Mengle Kramer.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Glenn served during the Korean Conflict aboard the USS New Jersey. He retired from Cincinnati Milacron in Carlisle with 35 years of service. Glenn attended The Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and was a member of the Eagles Aerie # 1299 in Carlisle. He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren, they meant the world to him.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Shirley Jane Tanger Kramer of Mt. Holly Springs; three daughters, Deborah Yohe of Newville, Star Wiskeman of Carlisle, and Cindy Piper of Gardners; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers, Jacob Kramer of York Springs, Bruce Kramer of Mechanicsburg, Daniel Kramer of Dillsburg and Frederick Kramer of Newville. Glenn was predeceased by a brother, Robert Kramer and four sisters, Catherine Lory, Rachael Noll, Gladys Claybaugh, and Thelma Frost.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 15, 2016 in the Hollinger Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with the Rev. Matthew Plant officiating. The Cumberland County Honor Guard will conduct honors following the service. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
