Gladys E. Rhinehart, 87, formerly of Gardners passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in the Forest Park Health Center. She was the widow of Franklin Rhinehart Sr. who passed away November 11, 1997. Gladys was born November 27, 1928 in Carlisle, to the late Charles and Bertha Stutzman Minnich.
She retired from the former Sylvania Shoe Factory, Hanover and was a member of the Mt. Holly Springs Church of God. She loved to camp and was a good bowler.
Surviving Gladys are her children; Alice B. (John) Frye of Heidlersburg, Constance G. (Gerald) Sheriff of Gardners, Franklin S. (Kay) Rhinehart Jr. of Boiling Springs, and Charles P. Rhinehart of Gardners; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; two sisters, Evelyn Kelley of Carlisle and Marie Miller of Plainfield, She was predeceased by her brother, Nelson Minnich.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 7, 2015 at 10:30 AM in the Mt. Holly Springs Church of God, 602 McLand Rd. Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Richard Reese officiating. Interment will be in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, West Pennsboro Twp. A viewing will be held Sunday evening, December 6, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave. Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.
