Gerald M. Stoll, 75, of Mt. Holly Springs, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 at his home. He was born May 29, 1938 in Mt. Holly Springs, to the late Ralph A. and Harriet March Stoll. Gerry retired from Carlisle Tire & Wheel as a welder and volunteered for the Mt. Holly Springs Little League for 20 years and coached the Teener League for 5 Years.  He was a life member of the White Circle Club, Eagles Arie

#1299 and the South Mountain American Legion Post 674. An avid hunter, Gerry belonged to the Mt. Holly Fish and Game, the National Wild Turkey Federation, the Boiling Springs Sportsmen Club and was a board member of the Yellow Breeches Chapter of the Wild Turkey Federation. He was also a member of the Silver Sneakers at Gold’s Gym, the Friendship Fire Company, Carlisle and the Mt. Holly Springs Citizens Fire Co. # 1.  Gerry served in the U.S. Air Force and the Army Reserves.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Doris R. Swartz Stoll; his son, Barry A. (Debbie) Stoll of Carlisle; his daughter, Cathy (Tim) Strine of Newville; his granddaughter, Jessie Ann Stoll and two sisters, Lucy Ann (Jim) Bistline and Trudy (Lee) Stamy of Carlisle. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Stoll Memorial Field, C/O Mt. Holly Springs Borough, 200 Harman St., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065. Condolences may be made to the family at www.hollingerfuneralhome.com.
