Georgeann R. Minnicks

Georgeann R. Minnicks, 82, of Carlisle, PA, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024, in the UPMC Carlisle Hospital. She was born May 8, 1942, in Montgomery County to the late Kenneth K. and Isabel H. (Osman) Kline.

Georgeann was a member of the St. Mary’s United Methodist Church in Bloservillle and volunteered for 10+ years at the Carlisle hospital. She enjoyed gardening, reading, knitting, crocheting, cooking, and listening to music in her spare time. She also enjoyed going to the beach and camping. Georgeann enjoyed hosting Thanksgiving and Easter for her family for 25+ years.

Surviving is her loving husband of 58 years, Jim Minnicks, of Carlisle; children, Jana M. (Scott) Smyers of Pottstown, Faith R. (Lou) Rinaldi, of Royesford, and Hope L. Procacina of Duquesne; 9 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. Georgeann was preceded in death by her son James R. Minnicks, who passed away March 2008 and a brother Kenneth Kline of Lopez.

Services will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 12:00 PM in the St. Mary’s United Methodist Church, 4133 Enola Rd, Newville, PA 17241. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mission Central, 5 Pleasant view Drive, Mechanicsburg, 17050.
