George Bohn

George A. Bohn, 95, of Chapel Pointe, Carlisle, PA, and formerly of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, died on Sunday, January 3, 2016. He was born in Gardners, PA on April 29, 1920 to the late George W. and Ruth Kuhn Bohn.

George retired from Grinnell Corp and belonged to Union # 520, the Pipe Fitters and Plumbing Union.  He was a former owner of the Green Mountain Inn, Gardners and was a lifelong member, 50 years, of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Arie # 1299.

He is survived by a brother, Samuel Bohn of New Cumberland; two sisters, Betty Shearer of Mt. Holly Springs and Sarah Jacoby and husband Bill of Boiling Springs; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Charles Bohn.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 7:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home and Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Walter Frankenberry, retired Chapel Pointe Chaplain, officiating. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service.
