Gary L. Erb, Sr.

Gary L. Erb, Sr., 69, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away on November 20, 2024, in the Hampton Medical Center, Mechanicsburg. He was born March 21, 1955, in Harrisburg to the late Richard and Sara (Stettler) Erb.

Gary worked for Kinney Shoe, Footlocker, and Surplus City in their Warehouses. He was a member of the Mt. Holly Springs Legion Post 674. In his spare time, he loved to build cars for dirt track racing, watching Penn State Football, and boating. Gary lived for his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving is his loving wife, Frances Erb of Mt. Holly Springs; children, Gary L. (Elizabeth) Erb, Jr., of Shippensburg and Charles Daniel (Amber) Erb of Newville; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; five sisters, Carol Lesher, Ruth McCann, Janice Sallavanti, Cheryl Hege, Sandy Evans; and brother, Greg Erb. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his son, James Michael Erb and brother, Richard (Dick) Erb.

Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 12:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev Richard Reese officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services and burial will take place in Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery.
