Gary L. Dillman

Gary L. Dillman, 78, of Newville, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025, in his home. He was born October 12, 1946, in Carlisle to the late Harold and Nellie (Kohler) Dillman.

Gary drove school bus for Forney transportation and retired from C.H. Masland & Sons, where he worked in manufacturing. He loved playing cards, board games, and hunting. Gary would often attend meat raffles in his spare time. He was a member of the Newville Senior Center and attended The Meeting House in Carlisle.

Surviving is his loving wife of 54 years, Kathleen (Woods) Dillman of Newville; children, Cristen (Kari) Dillman of Newville, Kevin (Mae) Dillman of Gardners, and Brian (Deb) Dillman of Carlisle; grandchildren, Galen Dillman of Gardners and Joshua Dillman of Newville; and sisters, Barbara (Glenn) McKay and Deborah (Richard) Rhodes; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Friday, January 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Pastor Bob Verno officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services and burial will be held in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 2174.
