Frank M. Calaman

Frank M. Calaman, 91, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on November 30, 2023, at Chapel Pointe. He was born in Carlisle on August 5, 1932, to the late Frank H. and Anna E. (Melester) Calaman.

Frank proudly served our country in the US Army. Frank retired from New Penn Motor Express where he was a truck driver. Frank was a member of the Tree of Life Church in Carlisle and AmVets Post 274. He also served with the Carlisle Truck Stop Ministry, His Hands Auto Repair Ministry, and Transport for Christ (TFC).

Surviving is his loving wife, Ruth N. (Chestnut) Calaman of Carlisle; sons, Terry and Donna of Gettysburg, Steven and Susan of Carlisle, and Danny and Sandy of Carlisle; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Erma Thomas of Boiling Springs. Frank was preceded in death by his three siblings, Nellie Weibley, Lee Calaman, and Beulah Tenerovich.

A funeral service will be held December 18, 2023, at 11:00 AM in the Tree of Life Church, 50 K Street, Carlisle, PA 17013 with Rev. Eric Moseman officiating. A viewing will be held December 17, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Avenue, Mount Holly Springs, PA 17065; and a half hour prior to the service on December 18, 2023. Burial will be held in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens.
