Floyd R. Kuhn, 85, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born April 21, 1930 in Gardners, PA, to the late James and Anna Bohn Kuhn. Floyd retired from the White Circle Club, Carlisle, as manager and had previously worked for Roy Gelsinger and the Miller & Shank Oil Co., delivering fuel oil and coal. He loved to repair lawn mowers and was a member of the Eagles Arie # 1299, American Legion Post # 674 and the White Circle.
Floyd is survived by his wife, Marie L. Ilgenfritz Kuhn; his daughter, Susan (Bob Keller) Chronister of Newville; and two sons, F. Richard (Loretta) Kuhn of Gardners and Charles (Nancy) Garner of Shermansdale. Also surviving are six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Robert Garner; two sisters, Gladys (infant) and Kathleen Garner; and two brothers, James and Frank Kuhn. The family would like to thank Dr. Collins, Celtic Hospice, and the nurses on the second floor for their professionalism and the care of Floyd.
Services will be private with Chaplain Arlene Dunn officiating and interment in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery.
