Faye Stone

Faye C. Stone, 78, of Dillsburg, PA passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020 at home. She was born on November 12, 1941 in Wellsville to the late Arthur and Catherine (Wise) Vaughn.

Faye worked as a hostess at Baker’s Diner and a bagger at Giant, both in Dillsburg. She attended Harmony Bethel Church of God, Dillsburg and was a member of the Farm Women of Dillsburg.

Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Richard W. Stone Sr; children, Tina Hess (David) of Laurel, Delaware, Richard W. Stone Jr (Kay) of Enola and David C. Stone of Glenrock; siblings, Theda Wenger, Diane Dorsey and Peggy Trump, all of Dillsburg; 2 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Faye was preceded in death by her grandson, Joshua Ormsbee.

Services will be held Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Mt. Holly Church of God, 602 McLand Dr., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033.
