Fairlyn (Faye) C.  (Lerew) Henry of Carlisle, PA, transitioned into eternal life on 8/22/13 at Claremont Nursing and Rehab Center, Carlisle.  Her husband, Bill, who passed on 4/6/13 and her sister, Eva, who passed on 7/24/13 welcome her with open arms.

She was the daughter of the late Esther (Kichman) and Hiram Lerew of Penbrook.  Three children survive her:  her loving  daughter, Carol, Carlisle, and two sons, Gregory, Carlisle, and Jeffrey (Barbara), Halifax.  She also has one granddaughter, Nicolle (Rich) Esposito, Bainbridge, one grandson, Cody Henry, Halifax, and one great granddaughter, Madelynn Esposito, Bainbridge that survive her.  Her brothers, Donald and Glenn, and sister, Doris, also survive her.

Faye was born on March 11, 1930 in Penbrook, PA.  She was a graduate of the Class of 1948 of Susquehanna High School and married her late husband, William (Bill), on October 23, 1948.    She was employed at the former Rudy’s Meats at the West Shore Farmers’ Market and the former Troy Laundry in Carlisle.  After retirement, Faye and Bill spent eight winters in Naples, FL.    She was a member of the Carlisle First Church of God.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Mt Holly Springs, is in charge of arrangements.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Furry Friends Network, Donations, PO Box 519, Boiling Springs, PA 17007 or Celtic Hospice, 220 Wilson St, Suite 100, Carlisle, PA 17013.
