Evelyn Rhoads

Evelyn M. "Chippy" Rhoads, 89, of Gardners, PA passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at her daughter's home. She was born August 22, 1926 in South Middleton Twp., PA to the late Oren and Ora Toner Kuntz and was the widow of Clair F. "Boze" Rhoads who passed away January 2, 1990.

Evelyn retired from Condor-Murphy Dress Factory in Mt. Holly Springs and worked for Musselman's and Eaton Dikeman. She was a member of Toland Mission. Spending time with her children and grandchildren was her greatest love.

She is survived by five daughters, Bonnie (William) Griffie, Vicki (Frank) Blemler, Debra Rhoads, all of Gardners, Judy (Kenneth) Stoner of Mt. Holly Springs and Cindy Rhoads of Boiling Springs; and a brother, Blaine (Vivian) Stoner of Carlisle. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Evelyn was predeceased by her brothers, Charles Kuntz and Rudy Kuntz.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA  17065 with the Rev. Leon Blosser officiating. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Mt. Victory Cemetery.
