Eugenia Mae Rice

Eugenia Mae Rice, 64, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on March 17, 2024, in the UPMC West Shore, Mechanicsburg. She was born July 20, 1959, in Harrisburg to the late Eugene Emerson and Joann Elizabeth Burnhisel.

Eugenia worked for Dickinson College in Food Service. She was a member of the Tree of Life Church in Carlisle where she taught Sunday School. Eugenia enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and making crafts. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving is her loving husband, Bennie Rice of Carlisle; children, Eugenia Thomas of Mechanicsburg, Harry Thomas II of Harrisburg, and Pamela Maria Disbrow of Carlisle; five grandchildren; and one sister, Ellsie E. Eagle of Carlisle.
