Esther Mae (Cline) Penner

Esther Mae (Cline) Penner, 89, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on Tuesday,  April 4, 2023, at home with her loving family by her side. She was born April 25, 1933, to the late Daniel S. and Anna Mae (Carey) Keck.

She leaves behind two loving and devoted sons, Gary Penner of Carlisle and Dennis Penner of South Carolina; her darling granddaughter, Shana (Russel) Strohecker; three apples of her eye, her great grandchildren, Isaiah, Victoria, and Jenna; and two great great grandchildren, also known as her little sweethearts, Zavieghn and Ava; and several nieces, nephews, and her best friend, Gladys Lewis and her feline companion Tabby.

Esther is preceded in death by her loving husband, Oliver Cline, whom she gained two loving step daughters, one step son and several step grandchildren and step great great grandchildren. Also, her stepfather, Chester Carey; brothers, Daniel S., and John Keck; and sister, Lela K. Norell.

Esther worked at. P.R. Hoffmans for over 20 years after she retired, she worked many years part-time at Hughes groceries and Mt. Holly Pharmacy in Mt. Holly Springs, PA. Esther loved life and her family. She dedicated her life to them. You could always find Esther weekly at the beauty shop. She loved long drives and going yard saleing with Gary. Lunch dates and thrift shopping with her granddaughter.

Memorial Services will be held Monday, April 10, 2023, at 4:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev.
