Edward Steigleman

Edward “Ed” Paul Steigleman, 64, of Gardners, PA passed away Friday, December 25, 2020 in UPMC Harrisburg. He was born on May 25, 1956 in Carlisle to the late William Donald and Charolette Elizabeth (Rhinehart) Steigleman.

Ed worked in logistics at Land O’ Lakes for 26 years and was a member of Eagles Aerie 1299 of Carlisle. He liked to be outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, staying busy and spending time with his grandchildren. Ed also loved all animals and making people laugh.

Surviving are his wife, Peggy (Giles) Steigleman of Gardners; son, Jeromy  (Jennifer) Steigleman of Gardners; grandchildren, Nolan and Aryann Steigleman; and sister, Sylvia Binner of Dillsburg. Ed was preceded in death by his siblings, William D. Steigleman and Catherine Schlusser.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 1104 Fernwood Ave., # 301, Camp Hill, PA 17011 or the Kidney Foundation of Central PA, 900 S. Arlington Ave., # 134a, Harrisburg, PA 17109. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs, PA.
