Edith L. Dunn, 85, passed away Wednesday January 9, 2013 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center. She was a resident of Green Ridge Village, Newville.  Edith lived in the Boiling Springs area in the late 70’s, then moved to Iowa Falls, IA and moved back to Mt. Holly Springs in January 2010. She was born June 19, 1927 in Ewing Twp., Mercer County, NJ to the late Guy & Ruth Watson Barnhart and was the widow of Wayne G. Dunn who passed away December 4, 1977. Edith was a member of the Jehovah Witness. She spent her last 30 years spending time with her loving grandchildren, and she adored her cats.
Edith is survived by her two sons, F. Allen (Shelby) Dunn of Mt. Holly Springs and Steven L. Dunn of AZ, and two daughters, Amanda (Kirk) Snader of FL and Jennifer Hendricks of WA. Edith has eight grandchildren, Stephani Savold, Shelly Brown, Michael Snader, Renee Stricker, Jeremy Dunn, David Dunn, Christina Thompson, and Jessie Rice; 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Surviving are three brothers , Harold Barnhart of FL, Jack Barnhart of Newville and Lee Barnhart of PA and three sisters, Roberta Bitner of Mt. Holly Springs, Ethel Lehman of Mechanicsburg, and Marion Stouffer of Carlisle.
Edith was predeceased by two sons, Dennis W. Dunn and Jonathan G. Dunn; two granddaughters, Sarah Olchawa and Rebecca Dunn; two sisters, Eleanor Sweger and June Hammond; and a brother, Donald Barnhart.
Memorial services will be held in Iowa Falls at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065
