Edgar Eugene Dorsey

Edgar Eugene Dorsey, Jr., 68, of Gardners, PA, passed away on January 20, 2025, in his home. He was born April 28, 1956, in Carlisle to Edgar Dorsey, Sr., and Betty (Gordon) Dorsey. He was the widower of his wife, Sharon Dorsey.

Edgar worked for Land O Lakes and was a member of the American Legion Post 674 in Mt. Holly Springs. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and sitting out back watching the woods and his pond. Edgar loved his furry dog companions.

In addition to his parents, Edgar is survived by his children, Jacee Over (Justin) of Carlisle, Angela Marshall (Mark) of Texas, and April Haffly of Carlisle; grandchildren, Zach and Paytyn both of Texas, and Haven and Conner, both of Carlisle; sisters, Donna Hockensmith and Dixie Walk (Dennis); ex-wife and caregiver, Tammy Dorsey. Edgar was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Dorsey.
