Earl Wenk Jr.

Earl E. Wenk Jr., 86, of Mt. Holly Springs, passed away Wednesday July 9, 2014 in the Penn State Rehabilitation Center, Hershey. He was the widower of Betty Galuk Wenk who passed away February 11, 2010. He was born August 22, 1927 in Lansford, PA to the late Earl E. & Beatrice Herring Wenk Sr.

Earl retired from Sears with 40 years’ service.  He was a member of the Cumberland Goodwill Fire & Rescue Co. of Carlisle and the Lansford Fire Department. He was a former member of the Golden Agers and Carlisle American Legion Post # 101. He loved his grand fur kids, Noah and Delilah. Earl was a Navy veteran serving during WWII. He is survived by his daughter Gale Wenk DuPont of Carlisle.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday July 16, at 12:30PM in the Skyview Memorial Park, Hometown, PA with Pastor Carol Bowman officiating. There will be a viewing Monday, July 14, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave. Mt.
