Earl Watson

Earl David Watson 81, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Manor Care of Carlisle. He was born December 14, 1934 in Carlisle to the late Earl David and Mary Bouder Watson.

Earl worked for several car dealerships during his career as a salesman including Bobby Rahal, Faulkner and S&H, prior to that he worked for Goodall Pools. Earl was a great woodworker and liked to build furniture; work in his garden and he loved his pets. Being very devout, he liked to read and study the Bible.

Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Karen Alexander Watson of Mt. Holly Springs; three sons, David Watson of Colorado, Jeffrey Watson of Washington State and Frederick Watson; two daughters, Sue McLaughlin of Colorado and JoAnn  Birchard;  nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also surviving are stepchildren, Angelina Souders of Lebanon, Frederick Alexander Payne of Gardners; brother, John Watson of Shippensburg, two sisters, Edna Mae and Betty. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Eugene Watson.

Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
