Earl Redmond

Earl L. Redmond, 76, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018 in the UPMC - Carlisle Hospital. Born in Sunbury, PA on May 18, 1942 to the late Earl and Helen Hertzler Redmond, he is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Sondra L. Woodward Redmond.

Earl enjoyed the outdoors, he was an avid deer hunter, and loved gardening and mowing grass. Watching movies and police shows on TV, shopping and taking care of his beloved dogs were his favorite activities.

In addition to his wife, Earl is survived by his son, Robert A. Redmond of Gardners; grandson, Brian Redmond and sister, Diane Diehl of Carlisle.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Matthew Plant officiating. A viewing, prior to the service, will begin at 12:30 PM until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery.
