Dorothy Peckover

Dorothy Irene Peckover, 84, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Cumberland Crossings, Carlisle, PA. Born July 15, 1930 in Plainfield, NJ to the late Joseph and Stella Beer Stein, she was also the widow of Albert Peckover.

She lived with her husband and daughters in Union, NJ. Later in life, she had a career as a realtor for many years with  Weichert Realtors in southern NJ.  Subsequently she moved to Tinton Falls, NJ. She loved to play bridge. Her dry wit and humor was appreciated by all who came in contact with her.

She is survived by two daughters, Celia (Jerome Lesniak) Peckover of Aspers, PA and Karen Peckover McMullen and her grandchildren, Adam and Stephanie,  all of Woodbridge, NJ. Also surviving is her brother, Martin Stein of Boca Raton, Fl. Dorothy was predeceased by her brother Theodore (Ted) Stein.

Graveside Services will be held Sunday, July 27, 2014 in the Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ.
