Dorothy DeVanie

Dorothy A. DeVanie, 47, of Enola, PA passed away Friday, February 13, 2015 in her home. She was born December 4, 1967 in Camp Hill to Carl R. Stepp of Ormond Beach, FL and the late Carol Hoobler Stepp. A graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, she retired from PHEAA and was a member of the Opossum Hill Union Church. Dorothy loved animals; wolves were her favorite.  She enjoyed reading, cooking and baking and dearly loved her grandchildren.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Steven D. DeVanie; her son, Michael Mesaric of Harrisburg; and her daughter, Michelle (Bob) Enck of Yuma, AZ. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Deliah Rose, Robyn and Michael and her siblings, Patricia Bennett of Harrisburg, Mary Neidlinger of Camp Hill and Kenneth Stepp of PA. She was predeceased by her step mother Elizabeth.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Opossum Hill Union Church, at 601 Opossum Lake Rd., Carlisle, PA 17015 with Rev. Randall L. Zook officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery.  A viewing will be held on Sunday, February 15 from 6 to 8 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt.
