Doris Marsh

Doris J. Marsh, 75, of Gardners, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at UPMC Carlisle. She was born to the late Calvin and Alice (Messinger) Cook on December 31,1944 in Gardners, PA and was the widow of Lorman Marsh who passed away in 1975.

Doris was a graduate of Boiling Springs High School. The former owner of the catering business, Country Style Cooking, she was a long time employee of Walmart, Mechanicsburg where she worked as a department manager. She enjoyed reading, gardening, bird watching and when she was younger, horseback riding.

Surviving are her children, Bonnie Crawford (Keith) of Mifflin, PA, William Marsh of Gardners, PA, Thomas Marsh of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, John Marsh of Gardners, PA, Karen Ridge (Jack) of Camp Hill, PA, Jeanne Hillary (Michael) of Mt. Holly Springs, PA and Jennifer Marsh of Carlisle, PA, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings, Patricia Shannon, Clara McCoy, David Cook and Russell Cook. Doris was preceded in death by grandchild, Kyle Weary, great-grandchild, Savannah Tyson and 7 brothers and sisters.

Services will be held privately and burial will be in Mt. Victory Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033.
