Doris Gleim

Doris S. Gleim, 84,  of Mt. Holly  Springs, PA passed away on Friday, November 13, 2015 at her home. She was born July 28, 1931 in Carlisle, PA  to the late Ira K. and Dorothy Sidesinger Gleim.

Doris retired from the PA Dept. of Welfare and was a former employee of the Cumberland Co. Veterans Office. She was a member of the Mt. Holly Springs United Methodist Church, AARP National and Cumberland-Carlisle Chapter 4377, PA Association of Retired State Employees and the Mt. Holly Springs Golden Age Club. Doris enjoyed traveling and reading; she loved animals including dogs and cats.

She is survived by four cousins, Shirley Eden of Easton, Frank (Beth) Gleim of Kingston,  Bob Brown of Spring Grove, Sharon (Ben) Musser of Lancaster. Also surviving is a second cousin, Tressie Eberts of Carlisle and many other second cousins.

Services will be held Friday, November 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Edward B. Alwine officiating. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Mt. Holly Springs  Cemetery.
