Donald G. (Doc) Bradley, DC, 85, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019 in the Manor Care, Carlisle. He was born August 21, 1933 in Frostburg, MD to the late George C. and Philomene M. (Mason) Bradley.
He took pre-chiropractic college at Purdue University and received his Chiropractic Degree from Lincoln College and the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL. Doc owned and operated his own business, Bradley ‘s Chiropractic Fitness Clinic on the Holly Pike for 50 years. He held the office of secretary of the PA Chiropractic Federation for four years until it merged with the PA Chiropractic Society. Doc was an United States Navy veteran, serving during the Korean War. A life member and past commander for four years at the South Mountain American Legion Post # 674, Mt. Holly Springs, and held the positions of Finance Officer, Adjutant for 16 years and the Cumberland County Commander from 1986 to 1987. He enjoyed hunting with his sons, playing golf every Thursday and fishing in the Mountain Creek in his back yard.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Carol Lee (Walters) Bradley; three sons, Douglas (Brenda) of Mt. Holly Springs, Bryan (Denise) of Centervilleand Eric (Darcy) of Gardners; four grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and sister, Jeanne Barmoy of Frostburg, MD. He was preceded in death by his brother, George Bradley Jr.
