Dolores Hockley

Dolores M. Hockley, 82, of Gardners, PA, passed away Friday, November 11, 2016 in her home. She was born August 4, 1934 in Mt. Holly Springs, PA to the late Mervin and Edith Garner Jumper and was the widow of Marvin C. Hockley Sr. who passed away June 15, 2000. She attended the Uriah United Methodist Church and enjoyed camping, completing crossword puzzles and playing cards. Dolores dearly loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her companion, John Markle of Spring Grove; two sons, Marvin C. Hockley Jr. of Mt. Holly Springs and Terry L. (Martice) Hockley of Carlisle; and two daughters, Sandy (Bob) Stonebraker of Gardners and Melinda (Tony) Nickle Sr. of Mt. Holly Springs. Also surviving is her sister, Ruth Bream of Carlisle; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Alisha Cromer Hockley; and her siblings, Robert Jumper, Gladys Geis, Helen Glenn, Shirley Jumper and Winnie Duncan.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 10:00AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA with Reverend Richard L. Reese officiating.  Interment will be in the Mt. Victory Cemetery. A viewing will be held Monday, November 14, 2016 at the funeral home from 6 to 8 PM and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
