Dianne Barrick

Dianne E. Barrick, 65, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013 in her home. Dianne was born July 16, 1948 in Carlisle to Shirley Derrick Earnest of Carlisle and the late William Barrick.

Dianne was employed at Novitas as the mail room supervisor. She attended the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Carlisle and was a member of Mary’s Card Club for over 35 years. Active in sports in her younger years, Dianne previously participated in and was a member of the following groups:  the president of the Tuesday Morning Bowling League at ABC West, a VP of the Harrisburg Women Bowling Association, a member of the 600 Club, and a member of the Book of the Month Softball League.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two cousins: Vicki Steedle of Phoenix, MD and Linda Burns of Sherman Oaks, CA.   She was known as “Lady Di” by her many friends and co-workers, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Services will be held Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 2:00 PM in Hollinger Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with the Rev. Matthew Plant officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
