Dianna Hoerner

Dianna Lea Hoerner, 50, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 at the Lifecare Hospital of Mechanicsburg. Born January 23, 1967 in Carlisle, PA to Richard W. Thumma( Doris) of Shermansdale, PA  and the late Dwanda Robinson Thumma.  She is also survived by her husband of 22 years, James E. Hoerner.

Dianna worked as an EMT for Yellow Breeches EMS, Inc. and as part of the fire police for several organizations.  Memberships included: Mt. Holly Springs Church of God, Yellow Breeches EMS - former Secretary and Treasurer, Citizens Fire Co. #1, Cumberland Co. Fire Police Assoc. - former Secretary, Cumberland Co. Volunteer Fire Fighters Assoc.- former 2nd VP, the State of PA Fireman's Assoc. and the Heritage Judging Group.

Also surviving are her children, Benjamin W.  and Katelyn A. Hoerner (fiancé- Bryan Shields), and her lifelong friend, Samantha Trego. She was predeceased by her sister, Joyce Miller Richwine.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July  9, 2017 at 3:00 PM in the Mt. Holly Springs Church of God, 602 McLand Rd., Mt. Holly Springs. PA 17065 with Rev. Richard Reese and Rev. Danny Murray officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 until 3:00 PM.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to her church or Yellow Breeches EMS, Inc. , 233 Mill St., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.
