Dennis Ruby

Dennis E. Ruby, 57, of Carlisle, PA passed away March 17, 2019 in the Manor Care, Carlisle. He was born October 9, 1961 in Iowa City, IA to Alma Rosenberry Paulus of Carlisle and the late Gilbert T. Ruby.

Dennis worked for Baughmans Construction as a equipment operator and was a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of the Carlisle AMVETS Post 274 and the White Circle Club. In his spare time, Dennis enjoyed fishing and going to Williams Grove Speedway to watch races.

In addition to his mother, Dennis is survived by his step-father, Paul Paulus of Carlisle; brothers, John and Kenneth Ruby, both of Carlisle; sisters, Donna Barto of Newport, Sharon Young of Millersburg, and Diane Myers of Mechanicsburg; step-siblings, Todd Paulus, Paul Keifer and Janice Wiss; and best friend, Chester Baughman. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Ruby and Gilbert Ruby Jr.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt, Holly Springs, PA 17065.
