Deanna Shughart

Deanna Johnson-Shughart, 40, of Gardners, PA, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013 in her home. Deanna was born May 28, 1973 in Greenville, SC. She was the wife of Emmanuel S. Shughart whom she married February 2, 2002. Deanna drove truck for EPS, Harrisburg and loved to ride horses and motorcycles.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her parents, Rev. John & Jean Johnson of Lewistown, PA; two sons, Larry Kurtz of Gardners, PA and Christian Kurtz, serving in the U.S. Army at Fort Riley, Kansas; and her daughter, Alexis Shughart of Carlisle, PA. Also surviving are two sisters, Stephanie Yordy of Lewistown, PA and Rebecca Bishop of Hopkinsville, KY, and a brother, John A. Johnson of Aiken, SC. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.
