David E. Jumper

David E. Jumper, 82, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on September 14, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 23, 1942, in Mt. Holly Springs, PA, to the late George and Beulah (Hockley) Jumper.

David worked for Kinny Shoe and then later retired from Ahlstrom paper mill where he was on the service team. He then worked for Petro Truck Stop as a janitor for a few years following his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed helping his wife, Sheridan, in the garden and fishing.

Surviving is his loving wife of 62 years, Sheridan (McNaughton) Jumper of Carlisle; two children, David E. (Debra) Jumper II and Sherry A. (Kenneth) Brown; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. David was preceded in death by his five siblings.
