David Allen Heinbaugh, Sr., 68, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away on April 13, 2024, in the UPMC Carlisle Hospital. He was born November 17, 1955, in Confluence, PA, to Donetta I. (Rodohaver) Heinbaugh and the late Donald W. Heinbaugh.

David was a Big Spring High School class of 1974 graduate. Right out of high school he worked for Tire and Wheel with over 36 years of employment until they closed. He was the owner and operator of “Wooden Stuff” along with his spouse, Sharon, whom he enjoyed working alongside with. He enjoyed woodworking, crafts, and antiques. David was recently ordained, and he was blessed to be able to marry two of his grandsons. He loved his family, tools, and his furry companions, Max and Cooper.

Surviving is his loving wife, Sharon (Clark) Heinbaugh of Mt. Holly Springs; children, Michelle Newbold (Jeff), Christopher Heinbaugh (Ally), Logan Clifton; step children, Bill Clark (Niki), and Connie Barclay (Dave) all of Carlisle; grandchildren, Shadeaux, Tyler, Austin, Jade, Dylan, Cloe, Courtney, Jordan, Ashley, Miranda, Kira, and Gaven; eleven great grandchildren; siblings, Jim Heinbaugh (Kendra), Kevin Heinbaugh, and Lori Heishman (Dave) all of Carlisle; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, David was preceded in death by his son, David Heinbaugh, Jr., who passed away in January of 2023.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, April 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Richard Reese officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD, 21741.
