Darlene Peters

Darlene D. Peters, 75, formerly of Goodyear and Bendersville, PA, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 in the Golden Living Center, Camp Hill. She was born September 17, 1939 in Gettysburg to the late Cameron F. & Zora Day Peters.

A bookkeeper for oil businesses, Darlene worked for Harold Dunlap and the Dauphin Oil Co. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Goodyear and loved to read, complete word puzzles and crochet.

Darlene is survived by two nephews, David L. Shelleman of Mechanicsburg and Mark C. Shelleman of Bendersville, and her sister, Doris Ann and husband Lloyd Shelleman of Bendersville.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave. Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. David Clark officiating. Interment will be in the Bendersville Cemetery. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service.
