Cynthia Hutchison

Cynthia Gail Hutchison, a beautiful, selfless, badass fighter, with a contagious smile and laugh and one hell of a personality lost her battle to cancer on Friday, July 15, 2016. She was the definition of hustle from owning her own hair salon, Total Look, to a school bus driver, to a radio announcer at Ski Roundtop, to finally the most caring and compassionate executive administrator at Rite Aid.

Cyn had the funniest and sometimes a weird personality, but it made us love her even more! She shared many inside jokes with her kids, siblings and friends.

She had many loves from her two children, Rachel and Cort. She loved being outside from long hikes, gardening, and an avid biker with the Harrisburg Bicycle Club. Cyn was not one to ever sit still and had many hobbies that covered photography, jewelry making, traveling and refurnishing furniture. Cyn loved life, she made every minute count and fought so hard to stay here with us.

Cindy, 60, of Harrisburg, PA, passed away at the Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence, Linglestown, PA. She was born on June 29, 1956 in Lancaster, PA to Nancy J. Diehm Miller of Lititz, PA and the late Carl G. Miller. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Rachel E. Hutchison of Philadelphia, PA and J. Cort Hutchison of Mechanicsburg, PA. Also surviving is her former husband, James W. Hutchison of Mechanicsburg, PA and siblings: Barbara Levan of Lawrenceville, PA, Bonnie Miller Watson of Mt. Joy, PA, Sandra Miller Wilson of Lititz, PA, Penny Lillo of Keene, NH, and Todd Miller of Lititz, PA.

A Celebration of Life service in memory of Cindy will be held outdoors at the residence, 202 Belmont Dr., Dillsburg, PA 17019 at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 23, 2016. Please dress casual and bring lawn chairs. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central PA, Carolyn's House, 1320 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17110-2822.
