Clara Harry

Clara H. Harry, 79, of Mercersburg, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 at her residence. She was born January 17, 1941 to the late Ralph A. and Ruth J. (Lehman) Rhinehart Sr. and was the widow of Earl Harry who passed away in 1986.

Clara was a graduate of Boiling Springs High School, class of 1959. Her first job was at the former Dillsburg Shoe Factory, and she later worked at Baer Packing and Pet Ritz. She retired from Corning Glass, also known as World Kitchens. She attended Trinity United Church of Christ, State Line, PA.

Surviving are her children, Eric E. Harry (Tammy) of Mercersburg, Beverly Ann Oberholzer of Greencastle and Clifford L. Harry (Jana) of Greencastle; stepdaughters, Dodie Sanders of Clarksville, TN and Earlene (Sis) Waugaman of Scottsdale, PA; 4 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Mary Welker and Virginia Shepard, both of Carlisle, PA. She was preceded in death by her son, Carl R. Harry and siblings, Margaret Myers, Ralph, Richard, Raymond and James Rhinehart.

The family would like to thank Palliative Care, Spirit Trust Home and Spirit Trust Hospice for their loving care of Mom and our family in our time of need.

Services will be held Monday, February 17, 2020 at 11:00 AM in Hollinger Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Irene Pouliet officiating. A viewing will be held Sunday, February 16, 2020 at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the funeral home and also 10:00 AM until the service. Burial will be in South Fairview Church of God Cemetery.
