Christopher Mowers

Christopher P. Mowers, 36, of Carlisle passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016 in the Hershey Medical Center. He was born June 20, 1979 in Hershey, PA to Paul Mowers and Vicki McNaughton both of Carlisle.

Christopher was the co-owner of Pixel & Hammer in Carlisle. He was a member of   Sea Research Society, was on the board of directors for Carlisle Summerfair and was also an active member in his church, Brethren in Christ, Meeting House. Christopher  loved computers, history, and his jeeps. He especially loved his wife and two daughters.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Heather M. Mowers of Carlisle; two daughters, Lydia Grace and Ayleigh Elizabeth both at home; two sisters, Jennifer (William) Hursh of Carlisle and Wendy Hockensmith of Boiling Springs; Mother and Father in law, Paul and Marty Calaman of Newville; sister in law, Jessica (Nathan) Snyder of Blue Bell; sister in law, Sara (Ryan) Kelley of Carlisle; and nieces, Gretchen & Claire Snyder of Blue Bell.

A Celebration of Life Service  will be held at 6:00 PM Friday, February 12, 2016  in the Brethren in Christ Church, Meeting House,  1155 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle, PA 17013 with the Rev. Josh Crain Sr. officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Christopher Mowers Children's Memorial  Fund,  Members First Federal Credit Union, 5000 Louis Drive, PO BOX 40, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
