Cheri Ella Heller

Cheri Ella Heller, 66, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away on August 25, 2024, in the UPMC Harrisburg Hospital. She was born December 16, 1957, in Mechanicsburg to the late George Lewis and Dorothy Romaine (Fleming) Detter. She was the widow of Clair R. Heller who passed away in December of 2013.

Cheri was a Northern High School graduate. She owned her own baked goods called Cheri’s Cookies & More. Cheri also worked for former Health South Nursing and Rehab in housekeeping. She loved baking, cooking, making crafts, jewelry making and spending time with her family.

Surviving is her daughters, Courtney Werner (Ben) of Gardners and Stephanie Ann Walmer (Travis Mellinger) of Newville; grandchildren, Kaylee and Madelyn Szczypta, Tate and Augustus Mellinger; sister, Debbie Goodman of South Carolina; and her companion, Park Toner of Mt. Holly Springs. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Greg Detter.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 30, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Charles Kish officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services and burial will be held in Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery.
