Charlotte Annette Boyles

Charlotte Annette Boyles, 62, of Newville, PA, passed away on August 15, 2024, in the West Shore Hospital. She was born February 28, 1962, in McConnellsburg to Hazel (Shotts) Gettle and the late Harold Gettle. She was the widow of Charles Boyles who passed away in November of 2021.

Charlotte was a Big Spring High School graduate. She worked for Bright Beginnings Childcare in Carlisle for over 10 and a half years. Charlotte enjoyed gardening, playing bingo, going to yard sales, and playing with and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving is her son, Dakota Boyles (Sophia Malloy) of Newville; brother, Harold Gettle, Jr. (Terry) of Carlisle; and grandchildren, Amelia and Braxton.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 12:00 PM in the Otterbein United Methodist Church, 647 Forge Road, Carlisle, PA 17015 with Rev. Steve Salisbury officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services and burial will be held in Springville Cemetery, Boiling Springs. Arrangements are being handled by HollingerFuneralHome.com to offer condolences to the family.
