Charles Chubb

Charles C. Chubb, 89, of New Cumberland, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013 in the Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. Charles  retired from the New Cumberland Army Depot and was a life member of the Mechanicsburg Club. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of WWII.
Surviving is his wife of 67 years, Ruth M. Lesher Chubb; two daughters, Sandra Rohe of Schwenksville, PA and Linda (Kerry) Jury of Mechanicsburg, PA; and three sons, Charles (Margaret) Chubb Jr. of FL; Craig (Paula) Chubb of Quarryville, PA and Jeffrey Chubb of Dillsburg, PA. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters.
Memorial services will be held Monday, April 15 at 2:00 PM in the Grace Baptist Church, 780 Woodland Ave., Lewisberry with Rev. Don Isely officiating. A visitation will be held at the church from 1:00PM until 2:00PM. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
