Catherine McCandless

Catherine C. (Agatha) McCandless, 89, formerly of Fayetteville passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015 in Forest Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle. She was born September 27, 1925 in Waynesboro to the late John and Mary Salajan Puican. Catherine was the widow of Ernest McCandless.                 .

Catherine was a teacher and a master certified handwriting analyst. She loved to play bingo and loved her family dearly.

She was one of eleven children and is survived by 2 sisters, Valeria Puican Holland of Carlisle and Sylvia Puican Bloom of Waynesboro; 30 nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to the graveside services, Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM in St. Andrew Catholic Church Cemetery, Waynesboro, PA with Father Augusty Valomchalio officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Mt. Holly Springs, PA.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Fayetteville Fire Company, 101 West Main Street, Fayetteville, PA 17222.
