Catherine Line

Catherine “Cassie” (Shearer) Line, 90, of Carlisle, PA, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 1, 2019 in the UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle. She was born in Carlisle, PA on September 22, 1928 to the late Robert P. and Catharine (Keeny) Shearer. Catherine was married 53 years to the late James Line, who passed away in March of 2000.

Surviving is her son, James Jeffrey Line of Brookhaven, MS and numerous nieces and nephews. Catherine was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond E. Shearer, Robert P. Shearer Jr. and Donald Shearer.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church, Second Presbyterian Church, 528 Garland Dr., Carlisle, PA 17013.
