Carol W. Henry

Carol W. Henry, 70, of Gardners, PA, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025, in the UPMC Carlisle Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born March 29, 1954, in Carlisle to the late Elzin and Virginia (Taylor) Wiedner, both of Gardners. Carol was the widow of Frederick R. Henry also from Gardners. 

Carol devoted her entire career to the United States Postal Service where she worked her way from carrying mail and worked her way to clerk at Camphill Post Office. After retirement, she took no greater pleasure in life than spending time with her children and her dogs and grand dogs. 

Carol is survived by her daughter, Jill Henry (husband, Billy Metcalf); sons, Bradd Henry, Brett (Kassandra) Henry; and brother, Dave (Marilyn) Wiedner.

Graveside Services will be held January 10, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Goodyear Cemetery in Gardners, PA, with Rev. Richard Reese officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Adam’s County SPCA, 11 Goldenville Rd, Gettysburg, PA 17325, or an animal rescue charity of your choice. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs.
