Calvin H. Piper

Calvin H. Piper, 82, of Gardners, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, in his home. He was born November 30, 1940, in Amberson, PA, to the late Hale and Janet (Hetrick) Piper.

Calvin worked at Letterkenny then worked at Caterpillar for over 30 years. He was a member of the UAW Union. He loved to hunt and fish. He also loved driving his race car at the Silver Springs and Susquehanna racetracks.

Surviving is his loving wife, Leora (Leer) Piper of Gardners, children, Donald (Cindy) and David Piper both of Gardners, Karen Keckler of York Springs and Kathy (John) Keck of St. Thomas, PA; and seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Calvin was preceded in death by his sister, June (Piper) Miller and infant sister, Reba Joyce.
