Bret Ritter

Bret Ritter, 65, of Boiling Springs, PA, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2024, after a valiant lifelong battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He was born on October 19, 1958, in Mechanicsburg to the late D. Herbert and Joyce Isabelle (Taylor) Ritter.

Bret was a self-employed Bovine Pedicurist, and later in life he was the owner/operator of Lake View Framing Studio in Boiling Springs. He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Carlisle, Bonny Brook Riding Club, and Cumberland County 4H Club.

Surviving is his loving wife, Tammy Ritter of Boiling Springs; two daughters, Natalie Meeks of Seattle, WA, and Tiffany Ritter of Boiling Springs; five grandchildren, Abel, Finn, Ren, Emerson, and Elijah; siblings, Jeff (Kelly) Ritter of Boiling Springs and Sharon (Clarence “Sparky”) Spahr of Dillsburg.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Otterbein United Methodist Church, 647 Forge Road, Carlisle, PA 17015 with Pastor Steve Salisbury officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services and burial will take place in Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, PO Box #91891, Washington, D.C. 20090-1891.
