Beverly Starner

Beverly Mae Starner, 81, of Gardners, PA, passed away Friday, December 7, 2018 at her home. She was born April 9, 1937 in Aspers, PA to the late Richard and Violet Taylor Starner. Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Galen D. Starner, and brothers and sisters-in-law.

Employed in the Medical Records Department, she worked at both Hanover and Gettysburg Hospitals during her career. Beverly was a member of the Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gardners and belonged to the Ladies Aid Society at the church. She loved flowers, horses and birds, especially her pet dove, Pookie.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with the Reverend Richard L. Reese officiating. Burial will take place in the Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
