Betty Wolfe

Betty J. Wolfe, 82, of Gardners, PA passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 in the Holy Spirit Hospital.  She was born February 16, 1932 in Gardners to the late Raymond and Daisy Smith.

Betty worked at the Bedford Shoe Factory in Carlisle and helped with odd jobs around her husband’s shop; she was a partner of Ron Wolfe Excavating since 1969. Betty was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church and enjoyed ceramics. Bowling was a favorite pastime, especially with her husband. She loved feeding the wild animals and birds around her house that she and her husband built.

Betty is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ronald C. Wolfe of Gardners and a daughter, Judy L. (James) Weaver of York Springs; a grandson; 2 great grand children; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Pastor Carol J. Bowman officiating. A viewing will be held Friday, Nov. 21 from 6 until 8 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mt. Victory Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt.
